Thailand government has a plan to demolish all communities of about 70,000 people along 9 important rivers in Bangkok, Thailand immediately and build new housing developments for them. The plan sounds good and promising. However, such sudden changes will rather cause great negative effects in many aspects, for instance, local life, relationships and culture will be disappeared, and local economy will be suffered from the plan because many businesses rely on those people. Therefore, this project proposes a reconcilable plan that gradually change communities bit by bit to avoid such problems, also, it is expected that the new design proposal could maintain local life, relationship and culture and also achieve the government’s goal to redevelop spaces along the rivers at the same time.
